Last Saturday saw us visit Nether Stowey to cater our first Somerset paella wedding of the season for Sophia and Tom and their 160 guests. Perfect weather, perfect setting and lovely guests. An absolute pleasure to be there. We prepared 3 paellas for them with salads and artisan bread from our favourite bakers, The Almond Thief in Dartington. The paellas were Valenciana, with free range Devon chicken; Marinera, with squid, king prawns and river Fowey mussels; and a Vegetariana with aubergine, mushrooms and mixed peppers.
